WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed.

Hazard: | Under extreme cold and dry weather conditions, an explosion could occur because of sparking in the fuel tank when it is partially filled with gasoline at a low vapor pressure and the engine is left idling. This could cause serious injuries or death. |
Incidents/Injuries: | The firm has received four reports of explosions, one involving burns to legs, fingers and face. |

Remedy: | Consumers with recalled snowmobiles are being sent a direct notice from BRP. Consumers should stop using these vehicles immediately and contact any Ski-Doo dealer to schedule an appointment for a free repair. |
